Becka Coolwear
« on: February 14, 2015, 02:53:37 pm »
I bought one of these one piece base layer suits a couple of weeks ago. I saw these mentioned on another forum and took a look at the reviews and thought I would get one and for the price they are an absolute bargain.
It is very well made and has the feel of quality about it. The fit is generous, the size guide was accurate.
I have taken the suit to be altered (I have little legs) and also have the collar altered, I wasn't keen on the wrap around collar with Velcro. I am having the Velcro removed and the collar turned into a mandarin type collar. Even with the price of the alterations it's still a massive bargain at £25 delivered.
Not just for the summer, it's good in winter too.
Oh that's not me in the picture by the way

Rae that looks like a good piece of kit.
I usually use EDZ's stuff which I've found very good but their a tad pricey compared to this one.

I have an EDZ suit which is ok, I thought the Becka would offer a bit of a thicker layer for the winter. I have yet to try it in hot weather but according to the video review it works. We will see when the warmer weather turns up.

I realise it's not your colour Rae, but the ginger curly hair would fit right in with what's left of mine, do they do that as a 'helmet liner'?

Brian (who seems to need cooling stuff all the year round, even when he is cold  :-\ )

I went for the Grey, the safest bet.
