Pure Silk Balaclava

Winter draws on, as they say, so if anyone wants a balaclava that won't disturb your helmet fit, you might want to try a silk one:
I've been buying these Patra ones for 20+ years:

Super-thin, warm, saves on cleaning your helmet lining.
Lasts 4-5 years, sometimes more.

Other makes are available (Jasmine) which look pretty good too, but I can't vouch for them.

Since its not wind-proof, depending on your jacket, you might also want a neckwarmer too.

EDZ are the ones for me, but I only use skull-caps, not a balaclava, too much palaver...

I also use Buff tubes as neck warmers, sun hats etc. A million ways to wear one and you'll look as daft as me.

I have a wind and rain proof neck tube thingy but it is VERY warm.

Ah I have one of those! Somewhere! When I bought my first helmet and was paranoid about tearing my ears off the guy said "have this," and then thought, "fucksake I hope he leaves my shop that probably won't exist in ten years time."

I've used it once. But now you mention winter, and I recall I get cold on the flipping motorway in the head zone, so maybe I'll have a look for it again.

It's yer cache timing out, and not refreshing, Brian.

Visit each of them and you'll have that smiley for 7 days.

Although the cache expires, after 7 days the image should be re-fetched. For some reason it's not refreshing for you properly - that's the odd bit.
