Mid Wales ride out 20/03/2020
« on: March 20, 2020, 06:43:12 pm »
A good  250 Mile run today out down to Aberystwyth then back up to Bala

A nice little K1300s was part of the group today,

The sea doing its work again,

Philip with cheeky fish and chips,

Our final stop at Lake Bala before setting of home.

Good photos, good fish & chips, and possibly even good weather! Jealous.

And Philip's new K? Looks like a fine beast.

I need to go out tomorrow.
Nothing says stay away from me better than leathers, balaclava, helmet & gloves.
Social distancing to a 'T'. :P

Yes biking is good for Social distancing and getting out at the same time, but still take the 99.9 gel with you, just one point not many cafe's open today so we used the outdoor one on the front at Aberystwyth, a tad cool but the coffee and fish warmed us up nicely.

Ah lovely!  Been years since I've been back!  Hmmm, if the weekend has good weather...

...and, if you came by Phmode Towers we could do a ride out.

You could even sleep in the garage if you need to...

Woah, I don't want to be the one responsible for the Death of Brian!

I think given it's a cold gitty day I'm going to try and fit the bike through the garage back door (I think it's too wide :'() and give it a quick clean, then take a short ride to play with the computer.

Hah! Well, you know we have this thing down here called central heating, so I didn't want to leave it :p ;D ;D

Just got back. Went to... tried to go to some biker roadside cafe place I've seen, but that was closed. Then went to Salisbury and poisoned some Russians. Then rode back via within a quarter of a mile of them stones that stand in a rough circle after some people moved them a while ago.

3 hours in the saddle had me crying on the S. Bit of a neck muscle to build up but otherwise the GS is comfortable enough.
