A belated thought: a single LED is all of 50p or so. Is there any chance of replacing it?

The single LED for the rear fog light for my car was £86! It’s an MOT failure or I wouldn’t have bothered.

I have no idea if you can simply buy those led and plug and play like a light bulb of if they need to be soldered back in as I have no tools to do so. I also so that for people that do open the light resealing them isnt exactly easy and often they fog up afterwards

If I remember correctly mine would occasionally fog up anyway, from new  8)

Edit: as did my brother's front cluster on an e36, and his e46, and my e46! So far my old e class hasn't.

My recommended fix: nick a Mercedes light cluster and bungee that on.

So, have you tried everyone else's usual suspects? Or not?
