Unused Tyres

Hi,newbe here,just bought a K1200 s sport 2007 in blue,obviously the fastest colour.My question concerns a set of unused Metzeler Z8 roadtecs which i have stored in my loft for the last 6 years yep that's right 6 years actually forgot i had them as you do,what i need to knowis this  do you think it would be worth fitting them to either my K12 or my MV Agusta 1078 Brutale.they seem fine no cracks or deformations either.I have had a look on a couple of manufacturers websites they do recommend not using them if they are more than six years old from the date of manufacture.just wondering what you guys think

TLDR:
Personally, I wouldn't risk it. You're only balanced on two of them, not four like a car.

And some more opinions, maybe different to the ones you spotted.

This site suggest a 4 year shelf life for Metz:

Metzeler: Motorcycle tires are covered for the life of the tire, 4 years from the manufacturer Date Code or until the tread depth reaches 1/32”.

When I finally took my 1987 Honda CBR1000F-H out of my mates loft in c.2011 I put about 400 miles on the bike with the Metzeler tyres that were about 21 years old and the bike had been standing on the front one  :o

Felt fine to me in the torrential rain on the M6 heading for Wheelhouse Tyres. I was doing about 3 mph with a lean angle of zero degrees mind.
