Pirelli Angle GT

Hello
       Will be needing new tyres soon and fancy giving these a go, I have a k13r and I like hooning around on twisty A and B roads I don't go much for motorways and do go away on her but I'm not a committed touring type I also come in at 11 stone with my riding kit on (wet) so..... will the standard GT's be ok or do I need the one's for heavy bikes? I'm a bit bewildered by the choices if I m being honest or if anyone can point me in the right direction of someone who works for Pirelli etc who can advise I would appreciate it,

I'd say you will be best suited to the standard tyre as opposed to the (A) rated tyre which has stiffer side walls.

I was told that I needed type A for my K1300S. I'm on my second set.

I previously used PR3s but found that Pirelli Angel GTs kept their profile better and lasted longer.

Correct. It's 'A' you need.
It's the bike that's heavy, not the rider.

You'll find Angels are pretty good. Far better <than> this rider.

It's tyre time shortly and after 2 sets of Metzeler Roadtec thingies I'm going to try these Angels this time I reckon.  Before those I was on PR3 and PR4 for however long. Fun!

Glad I got the angel GT’s they are fab wet,dry and anything in between I like to point and squirt , on the bike I mean, and they just grip luv em 👍
