For Sale / Wanted / 2011 K1300S for sale

Selling my 2011 BMW K1300S which is in excellent condition and of course the best colour combination - blue and black!

It has a great (not quite full) BMW service history and I have just had it serviced at Vines BMW Guildford today (29/01/2019) to give the new owner complete peace of mind. I have only done 2000 miles in the last 2 years and Vines of Guildford have serviced it twice in that time. I have a bundle of paperwork, including the stamped book and even the purchase invoice from the previous owner!

It’s fitted with the original BMW quickshifter, ABS, ASC, traction control, alarm/immobiliser, luggage rack, BMW panniers (which work off the same ignition key) and the optional extra of a centre stand. The MOT runs until June 2019 (no advisories as you would expect).

The bike has covered only 28,300 miles, it is alway garaged and I polish it more than I ride it to be honest. It has 2 keys and fobs, service book and manual.

If you have any questions please send me a message or give me a call on 07788290510. I live in Woking.

Looking for £5300.

Definitely recommend Vines BMW in Guildford.  The price was £215 in the end when is all good with me. They even do a video walk around your bike to show you the old oil, point out brake pad and tyre wear etc. Very pleased.

Hi all,

I’m after an iPhone bracket and mount for the odd longer journey we do. Does anyone have one for sale or could recommend a specific setup? Thanks, Rob

Thanks for your replies. I've spoken to Vines in guildford today and they are doing the required service (including brake fluid) for £60 less than the specialist so happy with that. They offer a 1.5 hour while you wait service so I can spend some time looking at the other new stock!

Praise or Shame / MOBITECH BMW specialists

Does anyone have experience with MOBITEC for servicing? I have just bought a K1300S (2011) with 27k on the clock and its due an annual service with brake fluid changing. I live in Surrey. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your advice guys, much appreciated! So.... I bought it! Very pleased with the machine overall but the previous owners interpretation of "mint condition" is very different from mine. There is very slight corrosion on the drive shaft but only a bit of bubbling. A couple of marks here and there but it has done 27000 so what should I expect! In terms of service history, it does have 'almost' full BMW history from Bristol BMW (valves checked last year) but he decided to change the oil himself for the last 2 years which doesn't help the history.

Quick question.....is getting it serviced by MOBITEC BMW Specialist ok in your opinions? They have quoted me £360 for a full service including brake fluid change. I'm guessing that's cheaper than a BMW main dealer?

Hi all, My name is Rob,  I live in Woking and I'm literally on the train on my way to view (and hopefully buy) a 2011 K1300S. It has 26k on the clock, full BMW service history and some panniers. Grateful of your thoughts and advice on what to look out for when I get there. Regards, Rob
