Foam Sealants, NO for our bikes
« on: March 09, 2015, 07:49:35 am »
It was discussed in the old forum and now was mentioned elsewhere by TomL just to inform all stay away from foam sealants, there are everywhere in the market , offered by brands like Zefal, Fix a Flat, Caffelatex, Stan's and many more.
But for us with the TPS those products are not permit able as they destroy TPS inner sealant and corrode the wheel.
So, stay away from them, If on the other hand you ride a bike without the TPS don't allow yourself to ease they still harm and corrode your wheel.
A new in the market that came from the Tractors is the liquid sealant, that is a definitely never to use  product.
They are perfect to use in a bicycle tire, always carry one with me, for the small scooter were perfect too.
Embrace the wind.
