Race version tyres
These tyres can suffer irreversible damage when subjected to low temperatures. 
Michelin therefore strongly recommends the following precautions are taken :

MICHELIN Power Slick, MICHELIN Power Cup, MICHELIN Power Cup Evo:
Never handle a tyre at a temperature below 5°C to avoid any damageBefore fitting or removing the tyre, it must have been stored for at least 24 hrs at a temperature of over 10°CIf there are visible cracks in the rubber, the tyre must not be used

WHY DO TYRES WEAR AT DIFFERENT RATES?

The final mileage a tyre covers in the course of its life depends on 7 major factors:
Some are directly under the rider’s control: inflation pressure, load carried, vehicle speed, riding style (braking and acceleration).Some cannot be controlled and mean that riding style has to be adapted:road use: winding roads, type of surface,off-road use: nature of the terrain (sand, stones, mud, …), ambient temperature
A single factor may have a not inconsiderable influence on mileage performance; if several factors are combined, wear will be much greater.
The tread is responsible for the greater part of the tyre’s grip on the road. As wear progresses, its ability to evacuate water diminishes: this means that speeds have to be reduced on wet surfaces.
Remember to check your tyres for wear regularly.
HOW DO YOU CHECK TYRE WEAR?
Wear must always be checked at several points on the tyre.
This check can be done using a depth gauge or by observation of the wear indicators on the tread (identified on the sidewall by a symbol when they are present).
If the legal or technical wear limit is reached, the tyre must be removed and replaced.
WHEN AND HOW DO YOU INSPECT TYRES?
Tyres must be inspected regularly to detect any irregular wear and any damage.  
Proceed in the following order:
Tread: to detect the presence of foreign bodies, cuts, localised damage or irregular wearSidewalls: to detect impact damage (pavement, pot hole, etc.). cuts, crazing or abnormal deformationRim / bead heel zone: to find any traces of friction or damage to the rim.
Any perforations, cuts or deformations visible on the tread, the sidewalls or in the bead zone must be examined thoroughly (both inside and out) by a tyre professional. The same applies to any damage to the rim.
In all cases, do not continue to ride on tyres showing signs of damage such as distorted or visible bead wires, separation of rubbers or fabrics, damage by fatty or corrosive substances, mottling or abrasion of the internal rubbers resulting from running under-inflated.
Each time the vehicle is inspected, check that the valve caps are in good condition. Replace them in case of doubt.
HOW DO YOU REPAIR A PUNCTURED TYRE?
All repairs must be done by a trained and qualified professional.
Repair is preceded in all cases by a very careful inspection of the tyre by the professional. Not every kind of damage can be repaired.
A tyre which has been run under-inflated or flat may have suffered irreversible damage, and whether or not the tyre can continue to be used can only be determined by exhaustive checks on the interior of the cover. It is therefore essential to remove the tyre to make a safe judgement of its true condition and the type of repair to be done.
In the event of a puncture, the injection of sealant products (puncture repair aerosol can) through the valve is no more than a partial and temporary solution. These products may pose problems of compatibility with the tyre, the wheel, the valve, a pressure sensor, etc. It is imperative to follow the tyre manufacturer’s recommendations.
Repair is the definitive elimination of tyre damage using the appropriate materials and method with a view to being able to use the tyre again on the motorbike without any restrictions.
Repair from the inside of the tyre is the only method recommended by Michelin.
CAN I HAVE MY MICHELIN MOTORBIKE TYRES REGROOVED OR RETREADED?
None of Michelin’s motorbike tyres are designed to be regrooved or retreaded. Any such operation would put the user at risk and is thus very strongly discouraged by Michelin.
