Sad, I know, but my Christmas present to myself is a set of tin foil baking trays. Not that I cook anything, but the Christmas washing up is a nightmare despite having a dishwasher. I dread Christmas dinner afters. The pots pans and trays usually need hand washing. So at least I can just bin my foil trays.

Too tight for foil trays but turkey foil in the bottom om normal roasting tin works just fine, screw it up and bin it when you have finished and no chance of flimsy foil trays collapsing and chucking the bird across the kitchen floor  8)

I always cook poultry in a separate halogen oven using a meat thermometer. Much cleaner than using the fan oven.

Roast potatoes and other stuff go in the fan oven without spitting all over the place.

My mate cleans ovens for a living, Newcastle area. They look like new for about £60 or so, depending on what's involved. Pretty cheap if you hate cleaning them.
