Another recommend hotel from an Old Gits trip.  This was the 2019 trip base and was excellent.  A really friendly bunch of staff, nice rooms in a building with loads of character. It's a great base for exploring the wonderful roads of the Dolomites.  It has a secure underground car park and is walking distance to the local town.

Loved it there. Great hotel and the town has a nice variety of eateries. I also liked to ride there and back with two stopovers each way.
Its not always the destination that counts its the ride, having a destination just stops you going round in circles.

Just looked it up, looks really nice. I will be staying at the Hotel Gran Paradis about 40 miles West down the SR48.

Doesn't look like that SR48 wasn't built be the Romans, was it?   :o

All hotels the are nice, worked there for a couple of years.
Mind the polizia stradale with the light blue coloured cars,  very serious about speeding , full of street radars too - disguised most of the time as poles in the side of roads (law in Italy permits this) .
