Hello Runnerboy, if you still have them I'll have a go at welding them up, I'm in Worcestershire.

Guys when I screwed mine up I was fitting new pads, I thought while the pads were out i'd take the opportunity to clean the pistons. I pumped them out gently but not gently enough and popped one thus needing bleeding. I bled them as normal but although they worked they were too spongy for my liking
some people said on various forums you don't need to bleed the ABS but believe me you do !  and, you can't do it without the GS911, or some other program that does the same function. Afterwards the feel is perfect and solid.
Like I said I have now made up some stops to fit in the calipers to stop the pistons coming out too far.

I did the same thing last year, you need a GS911 to bleed the ABS pump. I tried all ways in the end I stumpped up for a second hand one from ebay, i did both front and back with the 911 , they're as good as new now. plus I made some blocks to stop the pistons coming out too far next time.

AnyM2 is spot on, it took me a whole day to realise that I had the clamp on the wrong hose, I checked it several times, but couldn't see the wood for the trees, I also suspend the fluid reservoir 600mm above the bike by hanging it from the ceiling, and overfill it so that I can bleed the system using gravity after the system's equalised the vacuum.  Down to a 15min job now.

Oh, and I follow the RepRom directions, seems to work ok.

my twopenurth, most of the time two up. I change the damping modes lots of times when we're out because like Black K1, the bike handles the twisties a lot better in sport and then on the straighter bits back to comfort, even the war department on the back can tell when I switch it over. The pre load, I cycle through the different settings every time I wash the bike, a tip picked up on here somewhere.
Weight is 83kg rider and 60kg pillion.

Thanks for that Eastsussex, mines OK, just had the lever off to get the expansion tank off so I could drain the coolant before changing it, I think I'd spot that amount of discharge, with no fairing it's quite visible.

Chris, when I bought mine as a private buy from a guy up in Northwich, I went up to have a look at it on a Monday night, left £50 as a deposit came back home , did all the checks, picked it up the next Saturday and paid for it on my phone banking app there and then, nearly 8 grand no hassle from the bank and it was in the guys account in 5 mins.
I know there's loads of scammers about and you have to be on your guard.
When I sold my last Blade I made the guy bring a bag-full on notes.

Hello Ritchie, great job on the bike. i looked at the front stand but wasn't happy with just hooking it in to the calliper mount so I made one similar with a shaft that fits thru the front spindle, i know it's no good for wheel removal but it's a lot more stable for cleaning the wheel, I'm fortunate to have a centre stand and being an R there's access to some threaded lugs on the crank cases so I made a jacking stand so I don't have to jack up off the headers, I don't think the lugs a accessible on the S.
Best regards  mick

Ritchie, I did quite a few repairs with a product called Plastex on my lads GSXR’s fairings . I was very impressed with it.
