If you haven't tried one already, I'd suggest a go on a Speed Triple 1200RR. The Bond Edition perhaps.

Also, I had a 2007 ZX10-R and it would be interesting to have a go on a current one, but there aren't many Kawasaki dealers left and it's hard to get a test ride.

I do like that! But then I read the reviews - supposedly quite uncomfy ergonomics. And no pannier rails.

But a big triple would make me a happy boy, being of the Laverda persuasion. Stick that 1200 triple into a format that isn't 'adventure bike' and it might turn me.
I did test a Sprint ST just before buying my first K - it was good, but not as good, mainly on performance and build quality compared to the K.
