Well damn it to heckington. After Brian persuaded me to bring my quadcopter on our little Wales trip this week, we tried the Maven app thing which adds features to my Mini that DJI don't.

So now I can annoy everyone by doing bird's eye follow-me type stuff as well as onboard footage.

No just looked at Autotrader.  K13 are going cheap now, very low mileages, lots under £5k, it is very tempting. Still, I haven't earned a penny yet, must stop counting my chickens

I mean, there's a K1300S in Autotrader for under £3k at the moment. I was seriously tempted. That's like the price of tinned luggage for a GS.

We must have hit the nadir for K pricing, I reckon.

Got the old silver wheel  in and got the bike outside to wash the radiator with simple green and the 90degree jet wash widget. I'm not sure how much debris was due to each agent, but I tried to catch the debris on a cloth. It certainly wasn't wow! about the simple green. I can now see the lines of brake dust/tyre fragments up the radiator again. So yeah a lot of dirt has come out but nothing spectacular



There are some seriously large holes now where fins used to be so I'm not holding out much hope that it's going to have enough cooling capacity left. Anyway will be a few days till the tyres are swapped. And I have the name of someone who may be able to get the broken drill bit out.

If you had it worse than me, and according to the bureau that makes the weather, you most certainly did, then I am surprised you still have a shed standing.

After storm Kathleen or  Pierrick or whatever bloody letter of the alphabet we are up to now battered the bejasus out of us yesterday, today turned out sunny, not so windy, and , amazingly,  dry. So as Mole said, "Hang spring-cleaning"( or shed building/ K1200 tarting up etc) and we went for a bimble for the first time this year. Up to Bude down to Liskeard and home again. No 360 camera video I'm afraid, I was too busy remembering how to ride. Jeez I'm rusty, and there are aches in places that havent ached for a while. Just steady away, and mercifully seemed to have a quiet day for traffic. Put it this way I averaged 46mph for about 160 miles which normally you'd have to work very hard for down here, or ride up and down the A30. Moral of the story- go out and repeat as often as possible until end of May so I don't get left in the pyreneean weeds by the old gits

James Sherlocks bolts turned up this morning so I bolted the new discs onto the grey front wheel. The Hammerite on the wheel carriers got a second coat and I started on the rear swinging arm. The further away you stand the better it looks, but its better than crusty unpainted alloy. Ocean Falmouth are too busy and have a tech on holiday to swap the tyres over till next week, so I'll stick the silver wheel in so I can take the bike out for a wash once the simple green turns up.
