Hi and welcome to the madhouse that is EuroKClub  8)

So, loving it apart from the intermittent cruise control then  ;D

When these bikes are running perfectly they crush continents before breakfast and warp both time and space. On a GT, the cruise playing up would bug the hell out of me, luckily my lowly S only has a twist-grip friction lock  ::)

Welcome to the forum DiscTrucker.

My new GS has cruise control which I've yet to use in earnest. As with Brian I have a friction lock device on the K.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Thanks for the replies Chaps.

Yes the lack of cruise really is bothering me, one thing that I’m not keen on re this bike is the lack of information regarding repairs or procedures for repairs.

Sadly you have come to the party rather late because the k series from September 04 to last 1300’s have what can only be called a chequered history, sadly their where two US based sites that had ‘War and Piece’ about such over the years and both have gone down the drain and taken most of the info with them.

For some bizarre reason right from the first days of the net i’ve Printed off anything of interest and with 6 bikes on the go i’d Probably have forgotten anyway!!!!,the good news some of the K series come with a health warning which in a strange way may well work for new comers who are unable to search for such, and coming to the table with a blank sheet of paper may well be an advantage.
