Not convinced. Such a review sounds pretty useless at this stage : whoever rode it, knows how it rides. Whoever didn't, can't buy any, any longer.
There are I0 kinds of people : those who can count in binary, and those who can't...

I'm guessing it's a used bike review. Plenty of people may have wanted one, but couldn't afford it at that moment in their life.
Now quite a few are offered sub-£6k, and with equivalent bikes at £15k new, its a good time to buy secondhand.

I'm also against mass copy/pasting of the article. The author needs to make a living too.

If it helps, I just signed up for a 12m subscription on the back of this post.

Doesn't start until April though  :'(

Isn't that delivered January or February?
Its not always the destination that counts its the ride, having a destination just stops you going round in circles.

No problem Rae!

In summary they say:

"There's an awful lot to like here. Enough power and handling to keep you safe, enough comfort and carrying capacity to keep you happy on your holidays.  It really is a superb solo sports tourer.  For two-up distance work, though, you'll maybe want to give it a miss unless your pillion is particularly small and stoic...

They mention that they are not easy to find as owners are hanging on to them.  At the time of writing there were just 14 for sale via MCN, and to put that figure into context there were over 100 S1000RRs and 350 R1200GS..
If at first you don't succeed then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

The author needs to look in eBay & Autotrader - 37 for sale on both.

Hmm, maybe he doesn't deserve the money after all.  :o

A 'fair few' for sale would normally mean they were easy to find.

Whether you can afford the ones that were for sale is a totally different matter and nothing to do with availability... 8)

Ride is on Readly which usually has a free/cheap trial if you want to read the whole thing. Shame all the BBC mags and MCN stopped at the end of December, it used to be really good to read on the train.
