« on: January 28, 2019, 01:13:18 pm »
I have now sold my K1300s Tri Colour and I am looking for a K1300 Motorsport version.

I am looking for one with low mileage - less than 5,000 and Panniers, if you see one or are thinking of selling yours PM me.

Cash waiting!! and spring is coming!!!

Thanks

Mark

I like your choice of colour.  ;D

However, you may have to wait quite a long time (or pay a high price) for 5k mileage.
They've been fairly rare recently, and cost £1-2k more than one at 8k miles, which seemed to be the sweet-ish spot last year.

However, if you're set on 5k, I reckon your best bet is ask a BMW dealer to keep an eye out. They may have some coming in for part-ex that you could have first dibs on before they get advertised. Cost might be higher but you'll get 24 months warranty thrown in (~£600-700 worth). Steve (slparry) could be v useful here.

I'll take the cash please!

I don't think you'd want my bike though, at 28k! Still... I'll take the cash :)

All K1300Ss are nice! Even the rusty ones.

In fact, the rusty ones are just showing they've been put to good use, as long as it's just surface rust. That's my excuse sorted.

There was one on AutoTrader with about 760 miles. Is that it?

Full service history. Does that mean it's had 2 (or even 3) oil changes if it's a 2016 bike?

Naughty. Worth trying to knock £100 off just for fun, though.  ;D

Am I missing something. Brake failure with full service history?
Its not always the destination that counts its the ride, having a destination just stops you going round in circles.
