They seem a little rare in terms of being listed but I'm sure SportsbikeShop will get some eventually - at a reasonable price, and I'll try the biggest ones. Ah, here's why they're not in many places:
'This product will be released on 13 January 2025'

And they're in SportsbikeShop.
£435. Youch.
When Oxford and Lindstrands sell CE Level 2 gloves at £100-120 that is somewhat OTT.

If they were waterproof, that could make me part with say £180-200, but not £435.
I'd have to be a Ducati rider or something.  ;)

I suspect that Ducati riders would think that BMW riders are already qualified to buy such gloves. After all, they're only about the same price as the annual warranty! ;)
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Well, there is that, and the gloves would still exist after 12 months!
There could be a place in Sales for you, David.  ;D

I'm finally going to order in some gloves to try on and this is my list:

First the Level 2s:
Oxford Nexus - £100
Oxford Nexus Waterproof (except not in stock in anything but L, bugger) - £110
LS2 Swift - £80

And non Level 2:
Alpinestars GP Plus R V2 (these get 5 stars on MotoCAP (only 6 on the site get 5 stars. 250 gloves ish total)) - £154
RST Fulcrum (these get 4 stars on MotoCAP (31 get 4 stars. 250 gloves ish total)) - £60

Just be sure to grab a handebar and make sure the scaphoid protection doesn't get in the way too much.

Ah yes! My Knox things have chunky ones so I must remember to wear those when I ride over to SBS so it's in my mind.

Sorted.

Oxford Nexus won!

LS2 Swift just felt a bit cheap and slightly too tight.
Alpinestars I had high poncey hopes for but either someone with pink hands had tried it on or it's leaking colour from somewhere. The white bits were pink tainted and they didn't feel quite right.
RST also felt very cheap (I mean they are I suppose) and of course they are vented ones so maybe I'd be ok on those 36c days in southern France, but I have my silly brown shorty gloves for those times.

So yes, Oxford Nexus and I am quite pleased. They feel decent and have almost the same setup as my Knox things - which are L1 and I've no idea about indi tests - which I feel have very decent slidey bits for avoiding snappy snappy wrists.

The End!

Having acquired two complete sets of stress fractures of the wrists by doing nothing more arduous than knocking down a chimney breast with a mini Kango rotary hammer, I am convinced that chucking oneself onto the tarmac from a standing start (let alone from silly, silly speeds) will result in rather poorly little bones and an inability to wipe one's own nether regions no matter what gloves one is wearing. But you will still have skin and flesh in place which you wouldn't without the gloves.
