Buffing my black bits!

Having removed a lot of panels to free the radiator so I could clean the crud away (used a mix of Hydrogen Peroxide and several rinses and has done a great job of letting the rad breathe again) I am now reassembling.

Any recommends on the best cleaner/polish to use on the black bits, ie the belly pan, black side trims etc, they are looking a little greyish and i could do with something to restore the black for a fresher look?

Phmode:
I always use Auto Glym Vinyl and Rubber Care. You can wipe it off for a duller, matt finish or leave it to dry for a gloss finish as you prefer.

I use it on all the black plastic bits including the bumpers on the Sport Cases. It needs re-applying each time you clean the bike, or when it gets serviced, which ever is soonest  8)

WD 40 or even baby oil will do the trick but like Brians method, needs to be re-applied from time to time. You could try the hair drier trick.

Phmode:
I used to use WD on the car but on the bike withits exposed brake calipers and rotors I am a little more circumspect  :o

Tried WD on the black bits and works a treat, who would have thought.

I've also got some of the Autoglym in the shed, so will see how that goes too.

Top advice as per usual.
