Officially "Long Shot Saturday" - but I thought I'd ask. Does anyone have any taking up garage space please? Thanks.

Do you mean you want the rack and fixings or just the fixings. It's not really clear.  :-[

I was looking for the complete luggage rack, I think the part number is 71 60 7 715 137 and also the pannier rail (71 60 7 684 618). I think there are two mushroom fittings needed as well.

Wasn't David saying something about his cases and/or fittings following his write-off?

Hardly a 'bargain' but the Chermans have the rack discounted at the moment...

Thanks Brian - spotted that but I can get 15% from my local Dealer for all of it - better than our continental neighbours. David lost the rails on the bike - not sure if he had the rack - would be interested if he does still.

Reasonable deal. I saved £300 on a full set if Sport Cases, locks and carrier by buying from Bohling and North Oxford weren't really interested in dealing...

Annoyingly, I had the rack on the bike as well as the pannier rails but forgot to remove both. D'Oh! My excuse is that I was still pretty beaten up after the accident and so wasn't really thinking clearly.

That I can understand - you were very lucky to be able to think at all!

You'll know why I'm looking for rails.....

I may still have my pannier rack (and also a SW Motech rack) in the garage.  I can have a look if you are interested?

And, if you ever intend to use a topbox, the SW-Motech rack is the bees knees...

And if you ever intend to use a top box then the Japanese will be able to explain how to do the honourable thing. ;)

No firm opinions on that one then!
