But oh yeah the trip!

Rae do you plan your route for these outings with the same approach you do to our trips?

I ask as I think happening across a nice train carriage for lunch seems to never happen to me :).

It takes years of practice to get that lucky Matt.

We found a gaggle of German Goldwings in the car park this morning.

Some of them must think that their bikes might dissolve in the rain.
We are on our way to Aosta through Switzerland.

Car park all looks a little damp there Rae, you know what chrome is like whenthere is damp in the air.

And wet bucket seats, ugh?  8)

Ha! Now I know why they're called bucket seats. Silly me.

Viz Top Tip #356:
Do Goldwings owner a favour in the rain: puncture a hole in the middle of their bucket seat to let the water drain out. They'll be sure to thank you with the secret Goldwing Brotherhood gratitude sign of a shaken fist.

In which ever direction you look in Aosta there is a mountain.

Our first stop of the day is Oleggio

We are on our way to Dongo on the shores of lake Como.
I'll post pictures of Dongo when we arrive.

Sitting quietly in Dongo having a beer or six and two fire engines have just screamed by, obviously George and Amal have a chip pan fire, I've warned them about that before.
