Well, some good news on the corrosion front.  BMW will replace front and rear through "good Will".  I don't know who this Bill fella is but it'll do the job so long as they don't require some fealty thing in return.

In other news I had some odd incident in Wales last week (on the bike!) where I opened throttle, it sounded muted and didn't really accelerate.  Happened twice, first time doing a lazy 5th gear overtake, second time doing a 2nd or 3rd gear zoom out of 40 zone.

I'll just assume it's cursed.

Time for a KTM Matt.  ;)

Yeah, the two things that put me off though are:
1. the several stories of them being left in 'dealer mode' and shutting themselves down and;
2. I've just bought this house, moved in the week and now have several things to spend money on first!

A friend a very respectful sales person both here and worldwide described KTM as the brand that works in an uncontrolled way jumping  fm a to d and then r to v meaning that is a brand that has not a good business plan . And we all know that good reputation is build in solid ground .
Embrace the wind.

Late emerging biker - took the first bike plunge at 50 with a 12GT : swapped for a 13S 9 months in... then got my mitts on a lovely 2014 13R Dynamic in rrrrrracing rrrrred! Then the COVID came along... so I upped it to France and bought a V85TT... O Sole Mio etc etc!
