Here is an interesting video from Bennetts, a long but worthwhile watch.

Ah, good spot. Another £50 and a bit of testing, and they would have a reasonably good suit. Shame to have spoiled it.

Ah that was interesting! Thanks Rae.

So their needlework seemed OK but they could have dyed with plutonium and they raided a skip for protectors.

And their model had fat wrists.

And their model had fat wrists.
Or they didn't take their watch(es) off.

https://bksleather.co.uk/bespoke-service/fit-and-design

- Watches are not normally catered for, as this would mean falsifying one wrist size unsafely. Most motorbikes have a clock for this reason.

Which leads me to ask, now Mr Crowtree (who I loved in a leathery way) has gone to the great Tannery in the Sky, where does one go for bespoke leathers:
- BKS (v v pricey, and playing on their fame)
- Hideout (more sensible pricing)
- RST bespoke
- Dainese bespoke

Any other suggestions?

I thought that was where Dominic Cummings was heading when he went to test his eyesight  ::)

It was indeed where he went to "test his eyesight", having previously gone into No. 10 and various other meetings after his Mrs had tested positive for COVID.

He really is the epitome of "one rule for them ... "
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Maybe he was going to the leather place given he seemed to mostly dress as a tramp when he went to number 10, so maybe he thought a leather suit would help!

OK I think possibly the worst thing about that suit was the terrible elbow pucks that didn't match the suit green! Criminal!

It wouldn't take much effort on the part of the manufacturer to bring this suit up to scratch. A decent lining and a set of protectors.

Ja. Basically they have to beat this:
RST 1 piece, 400 quid. The RST doesn't come with a spine protector but for me at least, I'd rather spec my own. And isn't that around 50 to 100 for a full size one, depending how mad you go?

In any case, if the new kid on the block got to 300 and left out a pocket back protector and put in matching and decent CE level 1 stuff...

RST will probably offer finance! Oh wait they already do.
