K1300R/S Quill T3 exhaust. Innovative design - quiet below 4,000rpm but then acts as a straight through pipe - BS Stamped and Street Legal, MOT friendly.

£100 + P&P.

Hi, im interested, but cant find any pictures of a T3 Quill exhaust on there website. Do you have any pictures? Is it carbon/stainless etc?

It’s ally. Quill have stopped making them now, but they are a straight through design that is really quiet low down. There used to be pictures of how it worked on the Internet, but can’d find them any more. It’s in good condition - PM me your e-mail and I will send some photos.

Very similiar. That is a Tr-Oval, the one for sale is an Oval. The T3 is a very clever design, you can see straight through like a race exhaust, but very quiet below 4,000rpm and street legal.

It's sold, so I won't spoil the sales. But does anyone find this looks any better than the original ? You don't install this for 5 BHP extra, do you ?

You're right. Who am I to say there's no improvement. Just not for me. Maybe sometimes, or could I say "generally", I value the efforts of the designing engineers more  :-\
