Looks cheap and nasty. You can imagine where the excess lube goes when the chain is oiled. Is it a Harley?
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

I know nothing about it Tom I just saw it and thought I would share the lunacy.

Excess lube? Did you look at the chain? I think the pads are safe!
Correct rear brake use is scientifically proven to shorten stopping distances in EVERY road situation.

Not only is that chain old, it is in terrible condition.  I would be ashamed to have anything to do with it ...

You know, I think I should give up riding!

I looked at the bloody stupid picture for ages before I spotted anything unusual apart from the dry chain.

Any lube should of course get flung out by centrifugal effect and not get anywhere near the pads but a little would at least stop the pistons and pads from sticking  8)
