Heated Gloves? Brand New Keis model G701 tested
« on: October 12, 2020, 11:29:58 am »

Now its getting cooler I bought a pair of these to test.

It rarely gets really cold in most of Ireland, but it does up in the mountains, where we have snow most years. Must be getting older as I seem to feel cold in hands and feet more than before.

My main concern in buying though was whether heated gloves would be any good as actual, protective gear. No point in keeping warm if they are not well made with all the safety features etc.

These seem pretty good in that respect.

Anyway, I installed a pair onto the K1300GT via a Fuse Block from Nippy Norman. I may switch to battery packs as the wires can be a bit fiddly. Its enough of a faff as it is with Cameras and what not.

I wouldn't want to have a pair of sanders strapped to my mitts when I'm riding and I'd rather have my sander when I'm doing my wood block floor. Simples!
