Spotted this VFR by lake Como while we were having a coffee in Menaggio.

The weather is warm and sunny the views are stunning and all in the company of the lovely Melanie, what more could I want.

Our last night in Dongo.
A couple of shots of the hotel restaurant with the lake as a backdrop.

We left Dongo this morning in beautiful sunshine and 22 degrees, we have stopped for a coffee on the outskirts of Monza the temperature has risen by a few degrees and will rise further before our stop for tonight in Parma.

Our lunch stop just outside Cremona.
The temperature has risen to 28 degrees and it must be warm as Melanie has ditched the fleece.

The mesh jacket and cut down screen came into their own today it was 30 degrees when we got to Parma.

I have to admit to a monumental cockup, I booked the Ibis Styles and it is the only Ibis I have stayed in that doesn't have a bar, no bloody bar. There is however a free juice/coffee bar. You live and learn. I'll double check next time.
