Sealey Pocket Multimeter
« on: May 19, 2019, 10:59:57 am »
I bought the Sealey Pocket Multimeter a few weeks ago, it is small enough to fit in the bike or as the name suggests, in a pocket.

What a cute bit of kit for under 13 quid, it has all the basic mutimeter functions, the continuity buzzer could be louder but all in all it's great.

Nice! I especially like that the probey bits are in the case. I found some of them the other day from... not sure which multimeter! It wasn't with it!

Stop costing me money  ::)

£12.28 with FREE P&P.  It was the case that sold it. Many decades ago I bought a credit card sized one from Maplin. About the thickness of six and with captive leads and in a flip-style case, like a bill-fold.

It was genious and went everywhere with me, at work, at home, on the road. Eventually it died and I looked everywhere for a replacement.

So glad I could help you spend a bit of your fortune. As soon as I saw it, I just had to have one whether I needed it or not  ;D

I don't think my Avo model 8 would even fit in a pannier, let alone a pocket. Wonderful piece of kit that gets used from time to time.
That Sealey meter looks very neat.

AVO 8's don't like vibration and being dropped (out of the crew door of a Victor tanker  ::) ) so not a useful tool outside the workshop...

My mini AVO on the other hand... 8)

My Bosch badged/Bosch auto software Fluke scope has come in handy over the years.

You're welcome Steve, I don't know what it is about this little gadget, but it's almost irresistible.

There was mention of a mini endoscope for mobile phone in another thread, what a good gadget, don't know what I will use it for but I'm sure I'll find a use. Just had to have one  ;D
