Just had the RT remapped and it pulls like a train, with no snatching and a very smooth ride from start to over  130MPH, it now has 117 HP at the rear wheel with all usable power and torque.

Before getting my 20s evo in June 2018 I had a good look around and checked out all reports for reliability and problems, one that came up time and time again was with this unit failing in heavy rain.
Now up until last weekend I had been out in some realy bad weather with no problems whatsoever, this all changed on friday coming back from Wales in a wee storm, and the problem was found as soon as I returned home, ok so when the 20s evo first came out the seal between the mounting bracket and the control unit was made of foam rubber, water would eventually get into the connector
and this is where the reports of water problems came from, on further investigation I find that Sena modified the mounting bracket and seal but not many people know this, I only found out by checking a new mounting plate I had just fitted to another helmet, and below you can see the difference between the two seals, the second has a rubber sealing ring around the foam inner.

The Euro K Club Lounge / The KTM has gone.
« on: January 24, 2019, 08:24:46 pm »
After selling my 09 1300s two years ago, I have been looking for another K1300s as a project to fully rebuild and I still am, since then I have been playing with a KTM 1290GT very quick and lots of fun, I think I have now located a suitably priced K1300 to strip and go to town on, so this will be my project for next winter,
My mistake was looking around the dealers for one that had been taken in part ex, this is when i came across a tasty little GS and it didn't take long before a nice member of this forum had me signing on the dotted line ;D

So here it is until the project is finished.

Got a nice little group together for two days at the Bike Show in Germany, will be there on the 5th Oct taking a look at the new range of BMW's as well as some of the other stands, I will take plenty of pictures of anything new and post when I get back, thought we would have a change from the NEC this year and Cologne looks good, it was also cheaper at less than £100 PP for return flight, two nights Hotel and entrance fee, with free tickets for public transport.  8) ;D ;D
