Today had the pleasure to escort elit athletes in their attempt  to brake Marathon race record. Definetely a memorable ride.Some foto follow.

This is the route established by archeologists and used at first 1896 olymbic games.
Still there is an argument for another road that goes up the mountain and comes down fm the north side but that is not an easy route, still evidence of its existance are present even today, Info only for for historical justification.

...and it took ages to load on my iThingy but I am amazed that the guy who couldn't load piccies last year is now loading vids. Well done that man!

I think the runners deserve congratulations too for even attampting it and no doubt they will be back when it warms up a little  8)

There are several close ups courtesy of the white camera van, its there alright, many times found myself cruising next to athletes in the other lane in order to get a better look of situation , but close to the times provided am clearly vissible especially the last minutes of race, so yes am talking about running time sorry.
