Great to see political correctness being chucked out of the window. :D

I assume the bike is a pile of shit, otherwise the advert might have been about the actual bike! It'll be interesting to see the demographics of directly attributable purchases. For sure.

Well it is Italian after all.   I suspect that it would fall foul of the recently introduced regulations which forbid the use of 'harmful' gender stereotypes in adverts"

A harmful gender stereotype would have involved a dual seat and regailing the lass to the pillion so this advert ticks all the boxes for empowering women while showing them not to be ashamed of their bodies😁👍

Dipping back in, here's a far more attractive woman on a motorbike - and it's a BMW, albeit a cylinder or two short:

Her book is an excellent read - highs and lows galore:

When that model (the bike or the woman) goes around the world, I'll consider it a good advert.
(I know, I know, me or the K probably wouldn't make it either. Not young or crazy enough.)

One of the air cooled twins from the 70’s, early 80’s would have been my choice to go off piste, they are not exciting bikes to ride but the rides you have are brill and they are basic and tough, not like these complicated fragile ones we have now.

Could you please elucidate on the "snowflake input" please. I don't know what that means.

He's whining. Because of an add. Making assumptions based on clothes.

… or lack of?    ;)

The italian ad was never intended as an ad for round the world riding....neither is the bike. find your post a textbook example for a snowflake input.

The Rugged Road is also a good read, Theresa Wallach and her friend  Florence Blenkiron rode  down to S. Africa from Blighty during 1934 on a Panther outfit towing a trailer and wearing clothes at all times, well Queen Victoria did sterling service instilling values that nudity was a no no, not even your own on bath night.
