The tread pattern looks very similar to the Metzeler Tourance tyres fitted as standard to the R1150 GS back in the day.

An excellent trail-cum-road tyre for the less aggressive motor of the GS. It would outride almost anything on the road in a roundabout with the right eejit on board, had amazing braking grip and managed OK off-road except on wet grass. I loved 'em. If only I had a GS 1150...

These are for my z900RS… thought I’d try them on that as the OE Dunlops aren’t much fun in the cold and wet.

They look like dual sport/adventure tyres to me.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.
