Hello all, just joined. I’ve just got my K1300s and have to say I’m really happy with it. I’ve had many bikes over the years, including BMWs and have to say that (in my case) for a 15yr old bike it still feels remarkably modern. No doubt, going forward ill have some technical questions but for now I’m just enjoying my new bike.

Hello and welcome. The K1300S is a great bike and I'm sure you'll love it though it does have some challenges. This site is a great place to understand those challenges and how to deal with them.

As long as you don't want front and rear radar, cornering ABS or computerised everything to confuse both your brain and your left hand then the K is still 'relatively' modern...

I'm sure you'll love it as much as the rest of us do, or in some cases, have in the past. Brian
