Ha ha, getting older and lazier fed up with the Chain drive!!

Plenty of advice in here about the K, some which might delight you and some which might not, depending on whether you have done the deed or not.

If not, good luck with the search and a look over the buying advice compiled by #richtea, in one of the threads which I can never find  :blank:

There's a message in there somewhere, even though I don't really need the advice, it does need finding and pinning!!

I think I might have stumbled on the buying advice and things look ok. Little bit worried about the whole radiator situation but money and a good technician will sort that!!

With 6 bikes currently on the go more than enough choice, and if was starting out again I’d be going K1300r.

Well, money and a new radiator perhaps. Mine cleaned up well with about the same mileage as your prospective bike but a spare radiator or two always comes in handy... ;)

There is a thread on radiator cleaning, it can be done on the bike but I suppose off the bike would be better, but remember it MUST be vacuum filled.
