Sometimes I forget
« on: June 24, 2018, 12:15:12 pm »
what lovely countryside I have right on my doorstep

I went out for an hour this morning, it was 22 degrees I had on my mesh jacket which was recently purchased from Sportsbikeshop while we were on the Wrinklies trip.

The conditions were perfect and as you can see I even stopped to take a photograph.

The picture was taken just on the outskirts of Wentbridge which is about 5 miles from home and I also have equally picturesque countryside even closer to home.

Just lucky I guess  ;) 8)

I think we all forget how lucky we are in UK unless you are in the middle of a metropolis.

No bins but more amazing is that you took a piccie....nice one, it's more than I did yesterday  ::)

Good point, Rae. I always forget to take photos too. So in the interests of testing my new hot start wiring I stopped, killed the engine, took a photo, restarted, etc.
About 10 times in a 2 hour potter. No problems. Whoopee.

Don't forget to play Spot the Bin. I promise it was totally by accident, and I didn't crop that photo. Only saw it when I came home.

I don't know if that is a good test of the hot start issue Richard.

Mine has only ever done it once after I stopped the engine with the key (at the filling station in Worcester after our meet up at wotsit airfield last winter).

It nearly always happens only when I stall the motor, as we both did on last year's wrinklies trip and you did on this year's.

Me and the word 'planning' don't really go together...

I'm retired so do most of my riding in the week but if you fancy a jolly, just yell. Just not early morning eh?

Oh, I'm definitely up for a ride. Bizarrely I'm not getting out enough, even though it's fantastic weather. This was the first time for about 1.5 - 2 weeks.

I'm self-employed and lazy (sorry, efficient), so any day works for me. Which days suit you, Mark?

With Brian over Ledbury way, there's a whole host of Cotswolds/Gloucester/Hereford roads to ride between us.

Just one question: do we have to pay you if you comment on our riding style?  :o

No worries: here's a man with a plan, Brian, Mark!

However, its quite early, but nothing to say you couldn't join partway down/round.

I'll nip over and reply over there.

Saturday and Sunday sounds like a weekend to me and like mornings, I don't do weekends as they are promised to another. Oh well..
