Ok still chasing this problem.
I've had the tank off and the 2 pipes going from air box down to engine are clean & clear.
Coming to the conclusion now that it must be a warped rocker cover. I'll have it off again an put in on a surface plate.

I've just had this same problem, replaced the gasket, and it still leaks.
(By the way you do need sealant in a few spots, the service manual asks  you to put it in the corners of the 2 round cut outs on the left, and it had it before in those places)
I've done a bit more searching and come up with several people who said the dealer found that the chain guide was shifting up and pushing on the cover. Chain guide replaced to fix it.
I guess i'll get the cover off again....
Hi
I had the same issue and it was the chain tensioner rail pushing on the cam cover. It needed the rail replacing I believe. This was fixed at Bristol Motorrad. I would give you more details but it was completed under warranty on a bike purchased from Edinburgh Motorrad on the first ride after delivery fresh from a BMW service! Long story short the bike went back to Edinburgh and I got a full refund....but that's another story. Have you got the problem resolved now?

Hi just reading your post about oil leak cam cover did you resolve it in the end. Just did new gasket too but suspect the pressure from the engine is blowing the gasket.  I to am looking into the breather pipes to air box.

So did you find in the end was the cover warped?

Cheers Grant
