Traffic function on Zumo 550
« on: April 15, 2015, 08:01:57 am »
I have a traffic antenna for my Zumo 550 but it appears I can only plug it in to the car mount not the bike mount :(

Has anyone got a traffic system on their bike kit?

Would this work?

I have, but it plugs into the weird USB socket on the back of my ancient 2820 Streetpilot.

Weird but it does that to me too. And was bought for 46 USD back in 2010.
I guess they have some kind of gizmo to block signal when on bike who knows?

there is a little rubber cover immediately below where the power lead plugs in - just undo the very small screw (don't drop it  - it is a bugger to find !!!) and remove the cap to reveal a micro USB port.

I have managed to tidy up the power lead and route it under the battery cover in a neater way :)
