Giving up...........
« on: December 10, 2019, 03:46:33 pm »
 GIVING UP..

As much as I love riding motorcycles, and everything that comes with it -- the camaraderie, customising, tinkering and all the other bits and bobs -- it is taking up too much of my time. I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics of cleaning and cooking and maintaining the house, so something has to give. Consequently, I have decided to get rid of my collection.

Below is a list of what's available. Serious inquiries only,
    Thanks for reading and understanding.

    1. Dustpan and brush
    2. Sponges
    3. Dusters
    4. Mop and bucket
    5. Window cleaner
    6. Hoover
    7. Dishwasher tabs
    8. Washing powder
    9. Fabric softener
    10. Laundry basket
    11. Toilet brush
    12. Cleaning spray

As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

How much for the window cleaner? Mine broke out of the shed and I haven't seen him for six flipping months.

I think a man can never have too many dusters - I'll have the lot  8)

And, for one teeny, tiny moment there, you had me believing you. Or at least thinking You'd gone totally doolally.

One of the things about retirement that I have noticed is that you have time to repair those little jobs you couldnt be bothered with while at work. So the Dyson handheld has a new bigger battery and will now run for more than 45 seconds on a full charge. The Bosch sphera has bags filters and after dismantling cleaning resembling and judicious use of gaffer tape now almost sucks the dalmatian out of his bed. The Dyson 01 has a new wheel and thrashed the carpet to death. Delving in the under stairs cupboard I find swmbo has bought a wet vac carpet cleaner.
Do we have too many vacuum cleaners? 🤔

The big mistake you made was looking under the stairs. Stop it, that is no place for a man to go poking in  ::)

Not a chance vacuuming is my job and with 2 golden retrievers there’s always plenty to do I currently have 5 on the go with a spare as back up  :)
