Unless the sneaky b'stard is lurking in here somewhere, does anyone care? Last I heard from Paul he was still incognito although active on LinkedIn, cheeky sod.
Brian (who thinks the current membership of 174 (real members!) is testamony to what a blathering idiot he was to do what he did, not that I care now )
All,
we do not know why he chose the courses of action he followed.
We do not know if his personal situation changed, his financial position and so forth.
What we do know is that for whatever reason, he dropped off Eurok and personal contact with us
I know when I was going through an extremely acrimonious divorce that decisions had to be made on priorities and hobbies end up being chopped.
We may not appreciate how he did it, or why he has failed to make contact but I would ask that until we have facts, we measure our judgements
In a nutshell, Nadeem had a conversation with Paul about closing another site that he owned. They were in agreement and that site closed. No mention was ever made of EuroKClub. When it folded, because Nadeem did not renew the contract with the host, it came as a huge shock to Paul, an admin on the old site, as it did to the rest of us.
Anyone who claims to be a biker would surely never just close down a thriving bike site with absolutely no notice or offer to the members to take it over.
Nadeem's actions were taken deliberately and with malice aforethought.
End of!
Brian (who is happy to aplogise in print if any of the above is incorrect)
PS Paul was even more agrieved than most, as he and Nadeem were 'friends' by almost any definition of the word; they had even holiday'd together. That isn't how I treat my friends.
