Agree with Costa I would say the amount of pressure you use is the key.. I always use it between 1st and 2nd without any problems, you just have to make sure you use a firm quick  lift from your left foot, any half assed attempt could have you finding neutral.

Bike booked in for service and MOT on the 3rd of June.
Tried the Costas reset method. However not had a long enough ride out to determine if ok. Using clutch alone seemed fine but only did 20 miles. Gear selection no problems using clutch but did not get a chance to get above 6000 rpm to see what like at speed.
Mentioned to Service department and promised to have a look??

Thanks to Costa, tried reset method again and covered over 250 miles without issue over the week. Bike in for service and fisrt MOT today. No problems at all although £270 lighter.
