Hi folks , just purchased my third BMW but my first K model. Its a 2012 K1300R Carbon I was told by the dealer a carbon was a rare model does anyone know how I would find out how much of them were sold in the UK?

Welcome Gixxer,

You can't get down to special edition numbers, but here's the count of K bikes, including the K1300R:

Judging from the pictures here (https://www.totalmotorcycle.com/motorcycles/2012models/2012-BMW-K1300RCarbon) the main difference is the carbon belly pan, and possibly the tank paint.

I think your right its just the belly pan and paint that's different it would be nice to know how much is out there as I've never seen one before.
