P.S. We also both got parking tickets while visiting Portofino because I said to my wife. No dear, motorcycles aren't required to pay & display in the pay & display car park. It's an unwritten law. We can park here, it's fine. Trust me on this.....

We came back an hour or so later to find we'd both been ticketed. The wife was not at all impressed and had no problem in making this clear! YOUR FAULT MISTER G!

I paid the 100 Euro! fine  :o that time and got a f**king bo!!**king for not listening to her in the first place. Edgit!  :-X

How was I to know!? I never pay for parking on a bike. Ever!

Well take my wife's advice when you visit Portofino. Italy. Pay & Display, OKAY!

Here endeth the lesson....

Don't be so silly Kim, it is in the job description for men, don't ask, don't tell, don't listen, don't take advice. Simples! Why else is the world in the state it is.

100%, utterly.

But sometimes there are things she just doesn't need to know about, and so advice isn't sought.
And I know it works in the other direction too, Eyore!  ;) ;) ;)
