« on: January 08, 2021, 11:35:42 am »
Hi folks I have a puig screen used only once as it took 3 months to come from Spain and I’ve gone and bought a multistrada.

It was £145 new so open to offers

I've ridden the SD990R and the RC8....

RC8 was smooth and pulled the horizon closer very very quickly, much like a K bike I'd say.

The SuperDuke was mental.  I had a sore face from grinning too much and sore arms from hanging on for dear life as I pinged it up and down the gears on roads local to me.  Best fun I've had on a bike in ages and very sharp steering/braking.  Brilliant package, but I like the size of the K for my frame.

I’m thinking of changing my k1300r for a gt pre reg 2020 what do I need to look out for ?

Cheers

Maybe buy the same faring and convert yours?

Although I guess those fairing are as rare as hen's teeth biting into rocking horse sh*t.

I’ve ordered a puig screen and going to see what it’s like can’t seem to find a decent replacement for the mighty K I’ve looking into S100xr or R1250 rs

Cheers I’ve had my k for nearly 8 years but after riding home from Scotland this year in what felt like a wind tunnel I’m looking for something new I spotted the bike whilst on autotrader checking what my bike is worth.

Out of interest does anyone know what size the screws are?

Seems you only get the top half and have to use the screws and bottom plate

Hi all I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem I’ve searched this and other forums so not sure if it is the dreaded hot start to switch gear problem ie kill switch.

Last week on a ride I stopped for petrol in the last part of the day the bike has been fine with no previous problems but when I came to start it there are no start up ignition lights, fuel, temperature or the usual abs .

The bike is a K1300r 2010 I’ve had it 6 years no problem got it recovered home thought it might be the battery so replaced that and changed it but it’s still just sits there you can hear the fuel pump but still no lights other stuff mileage etc are still up and it will scroll through TPS oil etc.

Thanks
