One came up for sale on eBay, I think it was just before the “bug seasonâ€. Sold within hours. It made me do a Google search, I was surprised. I’d heard of R1100s races but the the k12R races.

Going by what my handbook says about factory suspension settings, is it just a case of turning a few more clicks while riding with a pillion?

Remove BMW pillion grab handles (which may require purchase of a Dremel'alike thingy and a Rivnut setter to overcome the crap 'Rivnut spins in the frame' issue)
Replace OEM grabs with AluRack steel ones (which are a difficult grip for pillions with chubby or large fingers)
Bolt AluRack plate to handles
Tighten all bolts
Advertise Dremel thingy and Rivnut setter on fleabay. Done!

I’ve been through that bit when I fitted the standard rack and pannier bars as my bike just had the grab handles when I bought it.
My only worry was being able to use the alu rack with standard with the bmw sport panniers, but not so worried about that now.

Saved searches on eBay would be helpful, picked up my old Remus and my current akro at fair prices. I’d also trawl the for sale section on here, that’s how I got my panniers and rear rack and screen from the same seller.

I appreciate that this is a massive long shot, but I’m looking for an Akropovic exhaust. In particular I’m looking for the bit that is the headers back to the link pipe. I have the link pipe and end can.
