I always thought the saying came from something that didn't work being 'a damp squib'...
Yes, a damp firework is about as much use as a one legged man at an arse kicking contest.

You mean a one legged ham at an arse licking contest? :D

Yorkshire to Minehead will scrub them in nicely, Rae. But only the middle 1/4.  :(

That's why I'm going out tomorrow on my scrub in route to get them nicely ready for the trip. I have a 60-70 mile route that is a nice mix of roads for scrubbing  ;D

Well what a cracking journey down to Chippenham the weather was perfect I got to ride my favourite road the B 6047 and now I have a nice cold pint of lager. There were plenty of power rangers out today giving bikers a bad name.
Let's hope the weather is kind to us, I have my weather Mojo fully charged so fingers crossed.

Well, it ain't going to be hot but that is a bonus when one is riding. 23°C here today and that can be a bit toasty in full gear but it's more like 16-17 after tomorrow.

Hope you all have a great time Rae.

The weather on the Tuesday run was a bit of drizzle here and there but not too bad. Wednesday was mainly sunshine with the occasional cloud. I think everyone enjoyed the experience. I think Richard may have some photos.
Thank you for everyone that attended.

Of course I have photos! Just Monday noght and Tuesday's ride.
I was just waiting for the prompt.  ::)

Tom and Rae. Tom is 'quick shifting' to the bar:

Philippe - somewhat blurry (photo image error, not his state):

Parked up in Crediton:

A lovely happy bunch of bikers - Philippe, Tom, Rae, David.
And two roses amongst thorns (3 non-K bikes, that is):

Morning coffee/tea. Very nice cafe:

Musical chairs, or a change of perspective?

Fabulous 'green' lane views. And the only bike not crazy enough to go down it? The adventure bike. Not because of the adventure aspect, but because he's smarter than the average bear ;D

An excellent ride, Rae, thanks - especially over Exmoor and Dartmoor.

And good company too - thanks all!

Route 2 on Wednesday was a very pleasant trip along some nice sweeping A roads and not a road with grass down the middle to be seen.  :thumbsupgood:
