Now cancelled because my dad didn't want me doing the trip in a day. It's only the same as going to Amsterdam. Anyway not arguing with him it'll only upset him. On the bright side am hoping to get my newly painted k13 side panel back this afternoon

And next time, put your feet down and don't try to be clever!

It's only the same as going to Amsterdam.

I like that.
In my mind, going to Amsterdam requires a heck of a lot of planning. But in your case, it's just an inconvenient commute. Cool. ;D

And no one even got to mention what a dum place it is to put such a thing as a lead acid battery so high up, no wonder they lost the war.....

Belgium and Holland in wintertime are nice places. Start the countdown and start stickering up the bikes as blood bikes.

By then my EHIC won't be worth spit, my insurance probably won't cover me outside of the three home nations and my passport, which probably needs changing many years early, will probably still be in Swansea (or Islamabad if they have outsourced the supply).

On first lockdown lots of our 'key worker' call centre staff kept getting arrested trying to get to the office (to take home wfh equipment). Because the office was in India and another country's telco isn't exactly justification for making thousands more key workers in India.

I reckon give it 50 years and it will have sunk in.
