Another New One
« on: June 15, 2015, 11:05:18 pm »
Just bought a K1300s from Bikerjim.
I'm from Welwyn Garden City and often ride with TomL as we are members of the same IAM group HBAM.
Been riding since 1959 and on my fifth return to bikes and I must say this is the best of all.
I look forward to gaining knowledge of the bike from here and I'm sure lots of good advice is given by members.
Hope I can contribute.
Its not always the destination that counts its the ride, having a destination just stops you going round in circles.

Welcome to the forum Ron. :)

I'm sure that you will find the K1300S a great bike. Shame that it doesn't have tyre pressure sensors. ;)

Ron who is an Old Git will have almost a week to get used to his K1300S before our trip to the Picos starting with the ferry departure next Friday. 8)

As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

Welcome aboard Ron, you will find soon that this is the best machine by far. And do not pay attention to K12 owners like Tom and the others, they just lack the 100cc needed for the ultimum performance...... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Embrace the wind.

Hi Ron and welcome to the madhouse that is EuroKClub!

That Tom has a lot to answer for, but I'll leave that to you to sort out.
