Ah, glad to hear that you’ve been there and done it, so to speak. Good on you Rae.
The reality of actually using blue lights and/or sirens is very rare, despite the Home Office type approved (RT & FJR) bikes being supplied with all the bells and whistles!!

Blood bike are allowed to have blues and twos fitted, however they are not legally allowed to use them. I have seen this article on another forum. I think the judge made the right decision in this case. The rider got away with the speeding because the officer didn't follow him for long enough and his vascar unit was not calibrated for the vehicle he was driving.

He was a nob with a grudge.

Just a small but necessary tweak required to the blues and twos facts of blood bike riding. I ride for the local Freewheelers EVS Bloodbikes, and we are permitted to use the blue lights and sirens if it has been declared 'life threatening' by a medical professional, ie that we are delivering/collecting medication for such an emergency.

Yes, I agree about the nob with a grudge element Rae! :)

Well, Rae, the French authorities impressed me, non!!?? My Crit air certificates (not the sticker yet mind you, that'll be sent in the post separately) for the wife's bike and mine were emailed to me today, having applied just three days ago, plus the one for my car applied for two weeks ago! :)

I applied for my Crit'Air certificate last night, it took a while trying to figure out what numbers went where in the form but got there in the end.
I also managed to pay twice, doh!, it's such a small amount that I'm not really bothered but thought it would be fun to try and get a refund.
So off I went to Google Translate and typed my request then copied and pasted it into the contact form. We'll see how good Google Translate is.  ???

Well Rae, it's now 25 days since you applied for the Crit Air sticker....any feedback from Le Frog authorities?? I only ask because I've also applied for one last week, and when I track my application online, it just says 'Order in progress'!

Yes, so I hear, but apparently there's no integral speaker in the Garmin 660 mount like there is in the Nav 5.😕👎

Sorry Steve, I am so old and venerable I cannot work out how to pm you!

If they are still available would you be able to provide photographs of the LH main fairing side panel, the RH main fairing side panel and the LH pannier outer lid. I don't suppose you have the RH pannier lid as well do you?

Please pm me if you know how to do it otherwise reply through the forum.

Many thanks,
Tony

It sounds normal. My 2015 R12RT with, I believe, similar if not the same switchgear, is not illuminated. Yes, I do find it a pain after dark when fumbling for the windscreen and/or on-board computer options switches!!

Garage clear out time....! When I owned my turbocharged sofa aka 2010 K13GT EE (grey colour), I had the misfortune to drop the bike whilst stationary, and consequently had various panels replaced due to the dreaded gravel rash on the lovely paintwork.
Hence the assortment listed below! Yes, motorworks also sell these used parts but for a lot more dosh!

1. Main fairing panel with headlamp aperture £130
2. Fairing pocket lid £40
3. Engine spoiler panel (black) LH £45
4. LH main fairing side panel £65
5. RH main fairing side panel £100
6. Mirror LH (complete assy) £40
7. Mirror RH (complete assy) £40
8. Front mudguard front section £40
9. LH pannier outer lid £40

If interested, please pm me on this forum, or text me on 07855 451482, whereupon I will provide photos of the parts in question.
