Alston House Hotel

We often stop mid morning at Alston House Hotel for something to eat on the way up to Scotland. They do great fried egg and bacon rolls. www.alstonhousehotel.co.uk/

Great ride up from Middleton-in Teesdale along the B6277.

As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.

What is it like as a Hotel Tom? This may qualify for both places to eat and places to stay?

Looks all right but I've never stayed there.

We're normally travelling up from Middlesborough to Scotland which makes it a late breakfast stop for us.
