Water in good whiskey is a crime.
It would have be bloody good water to only dilute and not contaminate.  :o

I was at Cardhu Distillery years ago and bought a bottle. They nipped out with an empty bottle came back and said, this is from the spring to drink with the whiskey!  Now that is how to keep someone happy.  The bottle did not last the week (whiskey and water)
